John Barnes is from the rolling hills of Music City, USA. He grew up in a town called Ashland City right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and started riding at the age of 14. Mostly riding for fun, his interest peaked and he started racing at the age of 15 at the Mid-South Winter Series. John would go on to race several years in amateur and eventually pro.

Today, his focus is on building Polaris RZR awareness, enjoying the lifestyle of racing with race fans, and recreational outdoor enthusiast. It is a great privilege to race for Yokley Racing and the Polaris RZR Factory Racing Team. As part of the #RZR life, he races Grand National Cross Country (GNCC).
